All Founding Fathers and Constitutional Framers

A person whose primary and lasting significance is drafting or architecting a country's actual founding constitutional order, distinct from a political theorist whose work remained doctrinal rather than a state's own adopted charter. Belongs here: James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton for the United States Constitution and its founding debates, B. R. Ambedkar as the chief architect of India's Constitution, Ito Hirobumi as the principal drafter of Japan's Meiji Constitution, Hans Kelsen as the principal drafter of Austria's 1920 Constitution and founder of its Constitutional Court, and the Marquis de Lafayette, who drafted the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen with Thomas Jefferson's assistance. Does not belong here: a political theorist whose constitutional or legal writing remained doctrinal commentary rather than an adopted founding document, filed under Political and Economic Theorists instead.
