Rubén Ángel Berríos Martínez is a Puerto Rican politician, international law attorney and writer who serves as president of the Puerto Rican Independence Party. A former three time senator and a perennial party candidate for Governor of Puerto Rico, he led the Navy-Culebra protests that ended United States Navy use of the island of Culebra for military exercises and was a leading figure in the Cause of Vieques.
