Czechia is a unitary parliamentary republic in Central Europe, its capital Prague. The President of the Czech Republic serves as head of state while the Prime Minister heads the government, and the bicameral Parliament, comprising the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, holds legislative power. Czechia is governed under the constitution in force since 1 January 1993.
