Unended Quest: An Intellectual Autobiography is a 1976 book by the philosopher Karl Popper, chronicling his life from its beginning, including his early apprenticeship to a cabinetmaker while a university student. The work first appeared under the title Autobiography of Karl Popper in the 1974 volume The Philosophy of Karl Popper, part of the Library of Living Philosophers series. Its chapters address subjects including music, education and philosophical problems Popper encountered, and Chapter 24 discusses two of his best known works, The Open Society and Its Enemies and The Poverty of Historicism, along with the origins of the approach he called critical rationalism.
