Fatafehi Kinikinilau Lolomana'ia Fakafanua, the 8th Lord Fakafanua, born March 20, 1985, has served as Prime Minister of Tonga since December 18, 2025. A Tongan noble and politician holding the Ha'apai noble seat in the Legislative Assembly since 2008 with one interruption, he served as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from 2012 to 2014 and again from 2017 to 2025 before becoming prime minister. He sits as an independent and, through his sister's marriage to Crown Prince Tupouto'a 'Ulukalala, carries a family connection to the reigning monarchy.
