Kyriakos Mitsotakis is the Prime Minister of Greece and president of the New Democracy party, in office since July 2019 and re-elected in 2023. Born on 4 March 1968, the youngest son of former Prime Minister Konstantinos Mitsotakis and a member of a prominent political dynasty that also includes his sister, former Athens mayor Dora Bakoyannis, he graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University and led New Democracy from the opposition after 2016 before becoming head of government himself.
