Margaret Baba Diri was a Ugandan politician, teacher and disability rights activist who in 1996 became one of the first representatives of persons with disabilities elected to the Ugandan Parliament. She later served as Woman Member of Parliament for Koboko District from 2005 to 2021, one of the longest tenures of any Ugandan legislator, after earlier careers as a teacher and as a gender development officer for the National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda; she died in January 2025.
