Nawaf Salam has served as the 53rd Prime Minister of Lebanon since February 8, 2025. A diplomat and jurist who previously served as president of the International Court of Justice, he was nominated by President Joseph Aoun to form Lebanon's first full-fledged government since 2022, succeeding Najib Mikati's caretaker cabinet, and pledged reforms to the judiciary and the economy.
