John Dramani Mahama, born November 29, 1958, in Damongo, has served as President of Ghana since January 7, 2025, his second, non-consecutive term after previously serving as the country's 12th president. He won the 2024 general election, defeating incumbent Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, becoming the first Ghanaian president elected to a non-consecutive second term. His running mate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, serves as his Vice President.
